6/28/2007: Advanced Google File Search Hacks | (Published by Keith Tuomi) | Lot's of people know how to use 'Advanced Operators' in Google, such as using the minus symbol to omit words you don't want included in your search, like:
"photoshop -negativekeyword"
Here's a trick to use Google to find directories of files, using some special commands. What it does is use the INTITLE: command, combined with "index.of". "index.of" is basically the Google codeword for a directory with no web pages, just files. I.e. www.website.com/this-is-a-directory-full-of-pdfs
1. Basic usage:
intitle:"index.of" (psd)
This one does a search for directories containing the .psd file type. Just insert the filetype you want to search in place of psd, such as pdf, ai. jpg, or even that weird format no ones heard of yet, mp3. There are no filters applied so you will probably get a lot of junk.
2. Multiple format search:
intitle:"index.of" (psd|ai|svg)
Add as many file formats as you'd like, seperated by the pipe | symbol.
3. Add keywords:
intitle:"index.of" (dxf|dwg) floorplan
Here we are searching Autocad drawing files, and have added the keyword 'floorplan', so we should get a bunch of directories containing downloadable Autocad floorplans.
4. Add filters:
intitle:"index.of" (mjpeg|avi) abstract -britney spears -paris hilton
Here we search for some video formats, adding the keyword 'abstract', and omitting some noise words.
Try it yourself, there's a lot of other Advanced Operators that can be combined into these types of searches. What you get is a quick, effective way to find massive volumes of the filetypes you're looking for, typically available for download. Please be nice and abide by any and all copyright rules. ;)

| | 6/3/2007: Need for speed.. June edition | (Published by Keith Tuomi) | We've been at it again over the weekend, and I think that June 3 2007 will be marked (fingers crossed) as the date that Zymmetrical finally got fast.
While it seems like there's no end to how much code and design can be tuned for speed, users should now be getting blink-fast pageload times on almost every page. In particular, our redesigned and optimized art pages (such as this one) seem to have finally been whipped into shape.
Please let us know if you experience slowness or any other funkiness - we are still in Beta and rely a lot on visitors like you to help us track down pesky bugs.

Your family is a great way to start, weather it is your grandparents or the youngest of the family. And it is easy to explain to them what you are doing. The next step is to take pictures of them in a situation. For example shopping or dinning. Make sure, however, that no brand name are visible.
You can have pictures of them playing, reading, thinking, sleeping or even watching TV. Most photography is used to advertise a product or service and all these are never better illustrated than by people doing something related to that product.
Happiness obvioulsy, is one of the top concept . But also peace of mind, sincerity, love, friendship, freedom, anything that lifts someone spirit.
It is important to use your photography as a way to illustrate human emotions.it is not always easy but,if successful, extremely rewarding.
So, envoy the sunny days and go out and shoot.
