That's a good way to do it as well. I guess the only snag with slideshows would be trying to pick music that your mother would like. Haha. I know that would be the hardest part about making good ones for my father.

I do not think this rumor is true. I have been there for a month and haven't heard anything like that.

If I could make a little cash with my photos, that would be great, but if not, then it really doesn't affect what I will or will not post on YouTube. It is a great way to communicate videos to family and friends who live far away. My mom has been able to see my kids grow up while she lives in another area of the country.

Youtube rocks in such cases. I great appreciate the step taken forward and look how much pleasure it is giving to the community. I have not uploaded any video but yes I do view a lot of them and they arent only on entertainment, there are also video tutorials, so Youtube si a great help to community.

You're absolutely right, youtube is sharing revenue for your uploaded videos.I love watching videos there & rarely upload videos. So I've never tried to earn money from my uploaded videos there.I also like metacafe.com for viewing online videos.

I have never posted videos on Youtube, but I really enjoy watching videos there. I especially like the ones where local talents are performing. I also like alot of the cooking videos. I have gotten several great recipes just by watching Youtube.

I have never used any sites to upload my videos, however I like you tube. I love the animal videos they have on there especially the cat ones since I am a cat lover.
I think it would be great of them to share there revenue with those who participate.

That would be an awesome idea! I would use them for sure if you could make some decent money there. My kids are forever making goofy videos of each other and the silly tricks they've taught our dogs.
