I'm hoping someone can/will help me with this- I've searched the Wiki to no avail.  I have a group of photos that were rejected due to technical difficulties in uploading (which I've since resubmitted), and I can't figure out how to delete them from my submissions list. I see there is a check box next to them, but then what? Am I missing a delete button somewhere? Thanks much!! =)

Hi Amber,

We do not delete rejected photos from the system as we need to maintain a reference for the editors. There are some filtering and sorting options on your Submissions page, so you can at least organize the way the list is presented a bit.

The checkboxes are intended for associating model releases to multiple submissions at once, but as you can see the full function is temporarily offline (it's on this weeks "to-do" list to fix this!).

-Just a thought (I know you guys are busy and this understandably won't be top priority or anything), could you maybe in the future sometime add a folder or something to tuck rejected photos into? That way they'd be there for reference purposes (which would be helpful on the artist's end too), but it would be easier to organize things.  For instance, there's a group of photos that I goofed up submitting so they got rejected, and when I re-submitted them, the file size was too small, so I'm going to have to submit them again, so I'll be looking at the same set of 6 or 7 photos 3 times, and that's kind of confusing/messy.  Either way, thanks for clearing that up for me!

We are never too busy to take into account suggestions from our participants- this is actually a pretty good one since reducing confusion in the submissions area will ultimately save us all some labor.

I have a few that went wrong during FTP and it would be nice to delete them.

Does everyone agree that we should keep at least a low-res thumbnail around, for the sake of reference? Although you probably can keep track of your rejects/problem files, we definitely can not expect our editors to keep this info in their heads.

As said, I think a 'recycle bin' of sorts is the best solution. Somewhere where the files that didn't make can sit, without being up in your face. We'd also like to offer the chance to recover rejects, if it's possible - let's say you get a reject for 'too much noise', and you correct the source photo, it'd be better to reupload into the same submission.

It would be good if there are three different view in the submission list. One for waiting for approval, another for rejection, and the last for approved. It is also not possible in the moment the change the number of photo that are displayed on one page. It always defaults back to 5.

Changing the number of files displayed on the page works here, on mac and PC, all major browsers. Can you tell me what browser version you have?

I tried it with Firefox 2.0.0.13 and IE 7.0.5730.11

On the Submissions Queue page I change the Page size number from 5 to 10 and click on the Change link. This refreshes the list, but set the page size number back to 5 and only displays five.

Henrik, sorry for the delay, I did not forget just wanted to ensure it works across browsers. Any luck now?
