I am running Vista myself and it is not without its problems I can tell you. I am not sure they make an operating system without problems. If anyone finds one let me know. It works ok for me, but could be better.

I really don't know, Mary. I was looking to buy a new laptop awhile back and couldn't find one with XP on it. Then a couple weeks ago I saw that Walmart.com had a new laptop on special discount that had XP. I went back the next day with the intentions of ordering it and it was already gone. I went to my Walmart that weekend and found nothing but Vista on everything. So, needless to say, I'm still looking...

Just an update. I have been using Vista, but it has its own problems. I would prefer the XP but switching now would only take time and money. I think they should have done more research and work on this program before they put it out on the market. Everyone I know has been having problems and patches have been sent out for some of those.

I've not upgraded to Vista,I'm still using XP service pack2.Vista is not a successful OS version from Microsoft. Many people are still on XP.And adding a video card is better, because then only you'll be able to run some advance graphics software on your pc.

I don't invest in a new OS until it has been on the market for well over a year, I can't get online without it, or it is at least two upgrades from what I am currently using!

You are Right Sfabobby03, Vista is a horrible operating system. And microsoft knows it very well, Thats the only reason they have decided to scrap Vista and develop New Xp.
never hesitate to take the most difficult problem
