I have never had a class in photography...unless you call many bad photos a class.  This fall I will take a class about dark rooms but I wonder how many of us are self taught.

it's possible to learn by reading books etc.
but the best is to learn from mentors and the experts.
after all they are the ones with experience and can guide you well!

I started learning from a friend. Now from forums, books and classes.
Well I'm sure you'll meet great photographers and become one one day!
