I have a friend who is also into photography. Most of his collections include amusing stolen shots. He loves this because according to him, people look better when they do not actually pose in front of the camera.

It's true that stolen shots are more natural & very amusing to view.But this should be limited to some extent otherwise it'll create problem.I rarely take these types of photographs & always of kids not olders.

you can actually get into trouble if you photograph the 'wrong' person.
some people would be bothered by this.
but I do agree about the spontaneity of not posing for a shot.

It is true. Such photographs reveal the true living style of the people. And they have huge support in the arts market especially depicting people's lifestyle and way of living.
