Would like to ask which brand of digital cameras would be best.. I'm thinking of getting a new digital camera and can't really decide from the many brands that are out there namely, nikon, sony, toshiba, canon, Fuji... any help would be appreciated.

You will get a different answer depending on what people use themselves, I think. I use Canon and I think they are great. I know Nikon are also excellent. But you will find people who swear by Sigma or Olympus or Pentax or whatever brand you can think of.
