I'm using a non-rechargeable battery of digital camera right now.Even if others say that it is an old fashion gadget but still there's an advantage to it. Say for instance if you are traveling and your battery is exhausted then you can change it with your extra battery. Unlike the rechargeable type of camera, you won't be able to use it because you still have to recharge it. For you what would be your choice?

I would have to agree with that. I have a charge one myself and you have to plug it in to charge it so if you are on the road that can be very hard to do.

I prefer rechargeable batteries because they do seem to last a little longer for me. However, it can be very inconvenient if I am using my camera somewhere I cannot plug the charger in. So, generally what I do is try to keep my rechargeable batteries charged up and ready to go, but I also take some disposeable batteries along just in case the rechargeables go dead before I'm finished.

Now cameras having rechargable batteries are preferred by people.Because you'll save the battery cost. You don't have to replace batteries after taking some shots. In case of non-rechargable batteries, you'll have to keep spare batteries with you every time. But this is not required in rechargable one.

Each category has its own advantages and disadvantages. I personally prefer using cameras with rechargeable batteries as I don't have to depend on battery at all times.

I definitely prefer rechargeable batteries for my camera. I also have a charger that will work when plugged into a household outlet or in the cigarette lighter place in the car, which is really nice. I do bring spare regular batteries with me if I'm going to be out for a while taking shots though....just in case. Having the ability to charge my batteries though is a money saver for sure!!

Rechargeable batteries are the best option for every one. There are so many advantages of a rechargeable battery but the biggest advantage is cost which you save over the time.
