| I come to know from various sources that the fonts installed on our PC, slows down the boot time and also slows down the normal operation speed. But, we have a solution for this with the software called Font Frenzy.
Font Frenzy is a free font manager has some unique features not only will it help you to view,

| Indeed, thanks for the share! I'm definitely going to investigate that. I've been having some serious font lag on my machine for a long time.
Incidentally, it's interesting you should post this now; someone gave me a glowing recommendation of Extensis Suitcase, designed to solve this and other problems.

| For mac users (maybe there is also a PC version, I'm not sure), Suitcase is a great program.

You can activate and deactivate fonts very easily. This way you don't have to uninstall them, while you maybe still need them. This really helps with speed! | | | |

| Depending on your system resource (RAM, hard drive speed, etc.), loading more than a few hundred fonts at a time can definitely slow things down, even to the point of the system being unusable.
Every application that uses fonts such as Word or Photoshop load -all- the fonts into memory, so if you put thousands into your OS, expect some serious screwups. | |

Keith, I am told that Suitcase can resolve the mondo-font-load problem with Photoshop, Quark, etc... gosh, I hope so. I can't wait for the time to play with it!

| Yes ,this also happens to me. I install a lot of fonts on my computer so that i can make my presentation better, but it makes my pc slow. I already have a font manager but it does not provide so much features as much it provides.
