| The video clips sold on Zymmetrical are currently shorts, intended basically for Video Jockeys to mix into live performances - no Youtube-style footage here, if that's what you meant. Just 10 second clips and such that can be used as ingredients for a live VJ mixdown.
We have some very successful VJ's among the participating artist's here, VJ Dubassy is one..
It's a tough market, VJ's are almost all real sticklers for originality, and prefer to create everything 100% themselves, or at the most trade clips over purchasing 'stock' footage. VJ footage is like the stock photo business, except everything is a bit more chalenging; copyright problems, server resources (to store large video clips), and diversity of formats and editing platforms.
That being said, we wouldn't have the video section online without a gameplan, and have some nice surprises in the works, so stay tuned. :) |
