Does anyone have a reference or resource as far as a good piece of software (freeware would be great, but will consider anything) for editing .AVI files? I've downloaded a few little things and been very frustrated. Mostly the frustration has been with adjusting/editing audio. Ideas?

There is just one program that I have used in the past, and it works nicely. Virtual edit-it can be found here;

Avi splitter is a good software for editing avi files.I've already used this software & found very useful.And most interestingly its freeware version is available,make a google search & download it & enjoy.There're many other good softwares at brothersoft.com,go & choose any freeware or licensed version.
