| | After the introduction of digital videos, video compression is a important part in it.But in video compression, there is a great removal of signal from the original picture.Don't you think that video compression is not necessary ?

| I've searched a lot in Google to find the answer. At last I got the answer. Here I'm describing it for all of you.
Video compression is a lossy process. It removes picture information from the original picture. But still then it's quite necessary.Because without compression technique, digitalisation of videos is not possible as it'll require huge space to store videos. Our eye can not recognise any difference between a compressed video & uncompressed video, because during compression only superflous datas are removed. | | | |

| Krrish, you are absolutely correct, it boils down to the limits of human perception. Now that we are in the Youtube generation, the ideas involved in a video can definitely override the need for 100% HD true quality. It just depends on the context of the video to decide what compression level is most appropriate. Sometimes it just ain't no thang, because the viewers won't notice.
