Hey there...

I'm having trouble when login in after I click on a referral link:

http://www.zymmetrical.com/?ref=u3ywnkhp/my/

I get a "Bad Request" message.

Any way to fix that?

Cheers,
Dan

Hey Dan,

I guess you missed my reply to your earlier post about your Multi Search engine:

http://www.zymmetrical.com/info/forum/forumid/17/postid/1893/view/topic/

Thanks for including Zymm in the search by the way, however I noticed you have crafted your referral URL incorrectly:

http://www.zymmetrical.com/tag-search-results/tag/woman/?ref=u3ywnkhp/my/

Should be:

http://www.zymmetrical.com/tag-search-results/tag/woman/ref/u3ywnkhp/

We have ultra-friendly URL's. :P

I'm curious as to where you got the ?ref= and the /my part? Perhaps we have an incorrect explanation somewhere on the site?

Thanks

Hey Keith...

Sorry.. i didn't catch that earlier post..

I got the "/my" fromt his page:

http://www.zymmetrical.com/account/referrals/
Here's a basic example:

http://www.zymmetrical.com/ref/U3ywnKhp/MY/
As for the "?ref=" I have no idea! LOL

Thanks for this!

Hey again Keith...

Something very odd is going on..

Type this on your address bar: http://www.zymmetrical.com/ref/u3ywnkhp/my/

I instanly get redirected to this link: http://www.zymmetrical.com/?ref=u3ywnkhp/my/

Was that suposed to happen? Is it really odd or is it just on my PC?

Cheers! :)

Oh boy, I see the problem now, your referral ID is actually including a / slash, which is messing it up. Please stand by we will correct this right away.

Fixed. :) We changed the code, for your name in particular the encryption code was adding a / slash, which breaks the URL of course. Your new code is visible on Account > Referrals. Basically, just remove the slash and you're good to go:

http://www.zymmetrical.com/ref/U3ywnKhpMY/

Just one more this, since this topic is open... My images are pending review for 12 days now.. Is that normal?

Thanks,
Dan
