| Has anyone seen tutorials online for the GIMP? I am trying this as an alternative to the expensive photoshop, and am finding it a little more complicated than I have time to figure out.

| | There are some good GIMP tutorials that I ran across when I flirted with the program but they are a lot harder to find than Photoshop ones. Just scour around Google for a little while and you should be able to find a few serviceable ones that can at least explain enough to get you on your way. | | | |

| | I saw a couple tutorials for GIMP at one point, and in fact used them when I still had the program, but they were difficult to understand and didn't help me at all with learning how to do art on it. I haven't done a search on it yet, but maybe you should try going to deviantart.com and searching for gimp tutorials. I know I've seen plenty of photoshop tutorials there at least! | | | |

| | Aren't there a whole bunch of GIMP tutorials to download right where you get the program from? I seem to remember that when I downloaded the program itself. I never bothered getting the tutorials, which is probably why I was rather confused. :) | | | |
