Do you think we're heading toward a time when people just look at their photos on the computer?

I try to remember to print mine, but it doesn't always happen. I do back up my files, so I guess they are safe.

Sometimes I think paper photos are becoming more rare. I only print the really special ones now instead of taking a whole roll to Walmart and waiting to see how they come out.

Even my nephew asked to see his photo after I took it on a digital camera. The kids won't remember having to take film to be developed.

I used to develop prints and negatives in the darkroom for my school paper. I do sometimes miss that. But now I'm addicted to the digital camera and I don't have a darkroom.

Yep which is no fun to me because there is nothing like pulling out your phot album book. I seen this picture frame that is digital and it rolls through your pictures! Crazy huh.

I usually burn into a cd all my photos stored in my digital and I love rolling them out on my tv screen.

I guess that makes looking at pictures more fun a bit more animated as well and theatrical as well. I don't see why you wouldn't do that. But still lets stick to the orginal.

We currently print out certain digital pictures. We normally use the photo printer we have at home. We love to make Photo DVD's for various events. Its easy to make copies and hand out to everyone. In this day everyone has DVD players so it works out perfectly. I can add nice menus and effects and people love it.

its always good to have backups... a few printed copies are good too... what happens if the world reaches a powersortage and there's nothing to power your device that has the photos stored in them? hehe anything can happen these days... I guess more people are storing their photos and saving them instead of printing them out, and even if they do they'll most likely get a printer and do it at home. I rarely see people going to develop their films anymore, either that or the number of people have decreased. The photo shop that used to develop photos near my place closedd down a couple of years ago.

Kids these days won't have the memory of going to get the film developed and than waiting a coupld hours or days before seeing the final product... they're so used to seeing photos on the spot that i think they would start to wonder why would anyone need to go somewhere to get their photos developed when they can just print it out at home if they wanted to

gone are the days where you had to go to the shop to get your photos develop, with just a click of a button we are now able to print it from the comfort of our homes, either that or view them from our computers. You can also choose which photos you would like to get printed.. which is pretty convinient. the wonders of technology...
