I am wondering my trial of photoshop expired and if there is something better out there I would rather spend my money on that but need some advice on what program I should go with.

Thanks

I would that you purchase the full version of PhotoShop because this is the one that is being used by professional who works with photo editing. You can also try CorelDraw, but, it took me a lot of me to edit the picture that my Boss has been ordering on me on this software. It’s probably because I have never used the software that’s why it is too hard on me. Some people say’s that you can easily work on this photo editing software compared to PhotoShop.

Well, there's always GIMP if you'd like to mess with that. It never quite appealed to me, but I know plenty of successful graphic designers who've used that program when they were low on funds. I too would recommend Photoshop though. I think it's the winner out of the Photo Programs.

I have to agree with the others on this one: Photoshop is the most expensive because it's the best. If you're looking for an inexpensive version of it, then there's a few good websites that offer students/teachers/people in education a massive discount. I'm an undergraduate so I was able to buy a full version of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for a great price. The site I got mine from was here: http://www.academicsuperstore.com/

I used to have Print Shop and still recommend it for those who need basic and simple photo editing software. But it's not the best when you start getting into more advanced uses.

I'd have to agree with silversong, there's always GIMP as an alternative to Photoshop, but no matter I like my Photoshop lol GIMP takes some getting used to.. that's for sure, but it is a good alternative

I have managed to used this Gimp software and I find it easy to use but I guess it couldn’t match to that of Photoshop. If you want some free editing software then I would suggest on using Gimp.
