| |  Aggregati is an open-source API framework to enable stock agencies (like.. us!) and data aggregation services (Cushystock.com, Isyndica.com,Lookstat.com, Prostockmaster.com etc.) to interact in a more manageable, effective way. The key benefits of using this API are reducing security and systems administration complications on the part of the agencies and aggregators, and increase the speed, ease-of-access, and accuracy of sales statistics for the contributors.
The goal: establish SDK's (Software Development Kit's) in the popular programming languages such as PHP, Ruby, and .NET, with a set of datapoints that are flexible enough to work cross-agency. Agencies would plug this code into their sites, and offer a secure, authenticated means for artists to aggregate their statistics on 3rd-party websites.
An accreditation standard could be realized to allow the 3rd-party aggregation firms to be authenticated by the stock agencies, enabling the artists to not be required to provide their individual site login information to the aggregation agencies - instead each Artist opts-in on the stock agencies to allow the accredited aggregation firm to access their statistics.
Participation is encouraged from any and all interested parties, this is not a 'Zymmetrical' project it is an open-source project for all the forward-thinker's in this industry to establish a new specification for technical interaction between the content creators and the agencies.
